Warhammer Armies - Halflings is under development!

Apologies for my slow updates of late, have been doing some other stuff than working on rules for the past weeks (namely work and a load of computer games), but I aim to get back to the drawing board soon to bring you the next book in the series, the Halflings!

I have been able to acquire both Citadel Journal #36 and #10, as well as finding a lot of other sources which gives me a decent amount of material work with. Warhammer Armies - Halflings will be the shortest book (both in terms of pages and the size of the book's subject!), but should come in at a handy 40-50 pages nonetheless. It is more meant to be used as an Allied Contingent rather than as a stand alone army (at least if you are hoping of winning with them!) but it will be field-able as both.

I have about half the book done so far, and won't be putting a release on it any time soon, but rest assured, it's in the works. Until then, I'll give you the full units list, as well as the cover picture:

Updates for books uploaded!

I took longer than expected, but I've finally managed to post all the updates (apart from the Dogs of War book, which I need to inquire with my co-writers).

Minor changes for most, a bit of tweaking with points cost and fixing wording on the rules. Albion has seen a few changes with updating magic items to 8th edition, Norse has gained a new special character, a boost to the Berserkers and a rewording on the shieldwall.
Amazons and Estalia have gained mostly points tweaks, especially Estalia should hopefully have the Inquisitorial powers sorted out now for better balance.
Araby has gotten some changes to the Genies (yet again), and they should now be more worth taking with a boost to their Wishes rule.
Nippon has seen the biggest changes, Way of the Warrior works very different, as do the Katana, they have options for Sashimonos, Hatamoto has gained a WS boost, Red Devil can now take Horo Cloaks for missile protection, Warrior Monks can re-roll to to hit and to wound, the Shrine of the Kami has gained a 4+ Ward and the Ronin also have the Way of the Warrior rule now

Note that apart from the Albion book, only Scribd have the latest version, I'll upload the new versions to 4shared soon.

There are probably more changes that I have missed, but that should be the biggest ones. So just keep playtesting and let me know of anything else I might have missed or changes you'd like to see, and I'll see what I can do about it :)

For now, I am planning to take a break for a while, but aim to be back with Warhammer Armies - Halflings by early 2011, so stay tuned!

Massive Updates Planned

Well, not as much massive as all-encompassing. Updates for all the books, fixing bugs, 7th edition remnants and points costs will be out soon.

Warhammer Armies - Amazons out now!

t took a bit longer than I had expected, but I'm finally finished with version 1.0 of the Amazon list! I do not consider it being my best work by any means, but those of you who want to field an army of jungle-dwelling berserker-women now have that option!

Dogs of War update

An update fixing some bugs and issues with the Dogs of War and Regiments of Renown pdfs. Not essential to download, but still recommended.

Warhammer Armies - Dogs of War out now!

Finally, the Dogs of War project has come to an end (almost) with the release of version 4.0 of the list and the accompanying booklet "Regiments of Renown".

Numbering over 160 pages, this is the ultimate source of mercenaries for Warhammer ever made!

Note that while it is complete (apart from the gallery section), it is likely too see some minor changes for bugfixes and rules clarifications in the short future, but this will be notified in that case.

Warhammer Armies - Amazons are under development!

While I am finishing up on Dogs of War (done apart from rule changes and bug fixes with the development team), I have started on a smaller side project. Ind will be put on hold for a while as I start digging into the background of the Amazons of Lustria. The Amazons are more intended to be used as an Allied Contingent rather than a stand-alone army, although it will be possible to field it as such as well. Background-wise I will be following GW canon as much as possible, basing them more on Mayan and Aztec mythology rather than Greek. And yes, I threw in some Pygmy allies there for good measure!
