Can’t wait to see them painted. I have been doing a huge Khorne army for months - its hard to stay motivated
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can get bored painting the same type of model too much mainly; luckily I can switch between other armies if I get bored with one of them!
DeleteWhat was the Damage in these girls Mathias? How many are titan forge and how many are the other suppliers?
ReplyDeletePretty much all the white/grey resin models are Titan-Forge, all metal models are from other manufacturers :)
DeleteYou've done some amazing work here Mathias. Would you be able to share your army books with us at the fandexes group on Facebook?
ReplyDeleteI wrote a 40k codex for lizardmen which included some amazon units in it. I wasn't aware of the titan forge models so I added venerated medusae and dread maws to their list. The idea being that if they worshipped snakes and dark elves regularly invaded, they might capture and worship the medusae. Plus the dread maw didn't fit with any particular army and was basically a giant tunnelling snake so I assumed they would likely be raised or enchanted by the amazon's to fight together. Perhaps some of these units could be added to the amazons fantasy book?
I have an amazon army that I've been working on and adding to for over 30 years. It began as a Horde-of-the-Things army, morphed into a quasi-Woodelf Army for Warhammer and is now a Kings of War: "Kingdoms of Men" army. The unique thing about it is that no two figures are the same. I have figures from over 20 different figure manufacturers and they are almost all heavily converted. I love it but I must say that your army above looks awesome in that the over-all theme of the army comes through very well. Mine is a bit more of a mish-mash of figure styles. Well done.
