Warhammer: Dogs of War 1.3 out now!

This update changes the following:

  • Removed text about the Paymaster dying as a result of fleeing or Last Stand.
  • To determine in which direction the Giant falls, roll a scatter dice. Place the small template in base contact with the Giant in the direction of the scatter dice, measured from the centre of the Giant's base. A model hit by a falling Giant suffer a Strength 6 Hits with the Multiple Wounds (D3) special rule.
  • Best Money can Buy armour increase has no effect on models with full plate armour.
  • Pit Fighters renamed to Gladiators (as they are called in Tilea).
  • Buckler costs 1 pt for Mercenary Captains.
  • Pegasi have Fly (9).
  • Griffons have Fly (8).
  • Freelancers may take a magic banner up to 50 pts.
  • Pikemen, Crossbowmen and Stradiots may take a magic banner up to 25 pts.
  • Pikemen cannot upgrade to heavy armour.
  • Crossbowmen cannot upgrade to medium armour.
  • Tichi-Huichi's Raiders have WS3.
  • Alcatani Fellowship have WS3. Costs 7 pts.
  • Lumpin Croop Fighting Cocks have T2.
  • Mercenary Orcs cost 5 pts, do not have light armour by default.
  • Giant costs 175 pts.
  • Asarnil has Fly (7).
  • Birdmen have Fly (8). Costs 80/13 pts.
  • Added Giants as a race. They are treated as Suspicious Allies.
  • Sellswords pay 2 pts for polearms and flails.
  • Duellists pay 1 pt for additional hand weapons, ½ pt for bucklers, 3 pts for pistols.
  • Norse Marauders can swap to additional hand weapons for free or great weapons for 1 pt.
  • Halflings cost 3 pts, starts with only hand weapon.
  • Assassins have Dodge (5+), costs 90 pts.

Warhammer: Dark Elves 1.5 out now!

This update changes the following:

  • Hag Queens/Death Hags may take Gifts of Khaine and/or magic items up to a total of 100/50 points
  • Dreadspears, Bleakswords, Darkshards, City Guard, Corsairs and Dark Riders may take a magic banner up to 25 pts.
  • Harpies have Fly (10).
  • Khinerai have Fly (10).
  • Dark Pegasi have Fly (9).
  • Manticores have Fly (8).
  • Black Dragons have Fly (7)
  • Cauldron of Blood is Large Target (5).
  • Bloodwrack Shrine is Large Target (5).
  • Dark Pegasus costs 45 pts.
  • Hits from the Bloodwrack Stare only work against units with Line of Sight to the Medusa. Is a Magical Attack.
  • Additional hand weapons for shades cost 1 pt.
  • Assassins and Shadowblade have Dodge (5+) and Scouts special rules. Assassins costs 105 pts.

Warhammer: Chaos Dwarfs 1.4 out now!

This update changes the following:

  • To determine in which direction the Giant falls, roll a scatter dice. Place the small template in base contact with the Giant in the direction of the scatter dice, measured from the centre of the Giant's base. A model hit by a falling Giant suffer a Strength 6 Hits with the Multiple Wounds (D3) special rule.
  • Fixed inconsistent wording with Armed to da Teef.
  • Lammasu Mace Tail upgrade costs 15 pts.
  • K'daai: Any non-magical attacks suffer a -1 Strength penalty against them. Blazing Body only requires testing at the start of your turn, not every turn. Costs 50 pts.
  • K'daai Destroyer has S7, M8. Costs 300 pts. Brazen Wings upgrades gives the model Fly (7). Razor Horns costs 35 pts.
  • Black Orcs have A2.
  • Goblin Slaves do not have light armour by default, may upgrade to it for ½ point. Spear and shortbows cost ½ point.
  • Orc Slaves costs 4 pts, do not have light armour by default, may upgrade to it for 1 point.
  • Steam Cannonade does not suffer any To Hit penalties for moving and shooting or firing multiple shots.
  • Unless Drazhoath the Ashen is your Army General, you may not have more units of Infernal Guard than you have units of Chaos Dwarf Warriors in your army.
  • Chaos Dwarf Warriors and Devastators may take a magic banner up to 25 pts.
  • Infernal Guard may take a magic banner up to 50 pts. May take great weapons. One unit may be upgraded to Infernal Ironsworn with WS5 and Ensorcelled Hand Weapons. This counts as a Special unit.
  • Sneaky Gits are a special unit, does not require other hobgoblins to be taken.
  • Spear Chukkas are a special unit, does not require other hobgoblins to be taken.
  • Added missing Multiple Wounds (D6) to Dreadquake Mortar.
  • One war machine or Hellcannon that is within 3" of the Deamonsmith can use his Ballistic Skill or re-roll one artillery dice or scatter dice during each Shooting phase.
  • Removed Move or Fire from Blunderbusses.
  • Giant Wolf mount has Fast Cavalry special rule.
  • Added Earthshaker Mortar as a new weapon team.
  • Inferno Gun has 18" range.
  • Devastators may not take weapon teams.
  • You may take 1-2 Hobgoblin Spear Chukkas as a single special choice.
  • Inferno Guns/Earthshaker Mortars/Bazukas follow the rules for Shooting at Lone Characters. They must deploy within 3" of the unit they have been purchased with, but otherwise operate as their own unit.
  • Siege Giant costs 190 pts.
  • Daemonic models have Immunity (Poisoned Attacks).
  • Colossus High-powered Engine no longer suffers double Wounds. Costs 35 pts.
  • Astragoth costs 300 pts, has medium armour.
  • Bull Centaurs pay 2 pts for medium armour.
  • Bull Centaurs Renders pay 6 pts for medium armour.

Warhammer: Daemons of Chaos 1.4 out now!

This update changes the following:

  • Pandemonium includes mounts.
  • Bloodthirsters and Skarbrand are Fly (8). Have Magic Resistance (1) in addition to Daemon of Khorne.
  • Lords of Change have Fly (8).
  • Screams have Fly (9).
  • Discs have Fly (9).
  • Burning Chariot have Fly (9).
  • Kairos Fateweaver has Fly (8).
  • The Blue Scribes have Fly (9).
  • Be'lakor has Fly (8).
  • Daemon Prince can upgrade to Fly (8).
  • Daemons of Khorne have Strength 1, not just when charging. Applies to mounts as well.
  • Juggernauts do not have Impact Hits (D3).
  • Locus of Abjuration gives Magic Resistance (2), since it will now stack with their base MR(1).

  • Exalted Seeker Chariot costs 190 pts.
  • Skullcannon is range 12-48". May fire grapeshot. Has Slow to Fire.
  • Dodge cannot be used against Treason of Tzeentch.
  • Removed mentions of "friendly" models from Reign of Chaos table so the roll affects enemy Daemons as well.
  • Clarified Horrible Fascination: If failed, that unit may not move in the Movement phase this turn.

Warhammer: Cathay 1.3 out now!

This update changes the following:

  • Sky Rockets have the Flaming Attacks, Multiple Shots (D6) and Volley Fire special rules. Hits are resolved at S3. Costs +7 pts per model.
  • Temple Dogs cause Fear.
  • Fixed bug with Zhuge Yi's Grand Strategist rule.
  • Phoenixes have Fly (8).
  • Celestial Dragons have Fly (7).
  • Qilins have Fly (9).
  • Pixiu have Fly (8).
  • Sky Banner gives Fly (10).
  • Imperial Infantry may take a magic banner up to 25 pts.
  • Imperial Bowmen may take a magic banner up to 25 pts.
  • Imperial Cavalry may take a magic banner up to 25 pts.
  • Dragon Cavalry may take a magic banner up to 50 pts.

  • Imperial Infantry, Dragon Cavalry and Terracotta Warriors pay 2 pts for polearms.
  • Imperial Guard costs 10 pts.

Warhammer: Bretonnia 1.4 out now!

This update changes the following:

  • Removed boosted version of Spiteful Glance.
  • You may take one Faceless for each unit of Herrimaults in your army.
  • Note that the Ward save gained from the Blessing of the Lady cannot be improved beyond 4+ for any reason.
  • Healing Hands: A Priestess may only join units with the Peasant's Duty special rule (except Grail Pilgrims). She may be placed in the second rank of any Infantry unit she joins, rather than the first. In addition, any unit the Priestess is with (but not herself) gains the Regeneration (6+) special rule.
  • Compassionate Mind (replacing Martyrdom): The Priestess reassuring prayers resolve her fellows' minds to face the horrors of the world. When cast, the unit she is within gains the Immunity (Psychology) and Stubborn special rules until the start of her next Magic Phase.
    Wall Warden upgrade costs 20 pts.
  • Beguilement of Blondel is a hex spell with a range of 24". The target becomes subject to Stupidity. The caster can choose to increase the power of the spell so the target unit halves their Leadership when taking the Stupidity test. If they do so, the casting value is increased to 12+.
  • Fixed bug with Ballista crew having BS3 in bestiary instead of BS2.
  • Pegasi have Fly (9).
  • Hippogryphs have Fly (8).
  • Unicorn costs 40 pts.
  • Knights Errant may take a magic banner up to 25 pts.
  • Knights of the Realm may take a magic banner up to 50 pts.
  • Lance Formation no longer gives the unit Devastating Charge.
  • A unit in Lance formation follow the rules for Ranks and Supporting Attacks that apply to Monstrous Cavalry. On a turn that a unit in Lance Formation makes a successful charge, all models with this special rule makes Supporting Attacks with an extra rank. In addition, they add their current Rank Bonus to the Strength of the Impact Hits they inflict. Finally, if the unit wins that round of combat, it also counts as having double their actual Unit Strength for the purpose of determining if the enemy unit is Steadfast or not.
  • One unit of Men at Arms may upgrade to medium armour.
  • Louen Loencoeur gains a 4+ ward from the Blessing instead of Regeneration. Costs 385 pts.
  • Polearms for Men-at-Arms costs 2 pts.
  • Polearms and great weapons for Foot Knights costs 2 pts.

Warhammer: Beastmen 1.5 out now!

This update changes the following:

  • Gors may take a magic banner up to 25 pts.
  • Pandemonium includes mounts.
  • Jabberslythe has Fly (5).
  • Preyton has Fly (8). Costs 70 pts.
