  5. I noticed a RAW flaw in the rulebook. The rules say 'Cavalry are subject to the following special rule: Impact Hits (1), Swiftstride. Note that the Impact Hits are resolved at the Strength of the mount, not the rider.' Since the second sentence is only present in the cavalry section, it could be misconstrued as other types of models using the impact hits of the rider in cases where the rider is stronger (such as with Chaos Steeds) so add an additional bullet point in the list of exceptions stating that Impact Hits and Stomps always use the strength of the mount would work. Also, I think that the Impact Hits rule should always use the models profile strength with Impact Hits and Stomps being unaffected by special rules and weapons.

I prefer the Warhammer Armies Project over the 9th age but I've noticed that they have doubled the points cost of everything. It honestly makes sense so that cheap units can be balanced without using half points. You should consider it, though only after you've released all the army books.

Lastly, considering how fuckhuge the basilica cannon was in real life, you should make the Araby one pretty much identical to the Hellhammer cannon used by the Pirates of Sartosa, including being immobile.

    1. I just occurred to me that Impact Hits (1) shouldn't be possessed by all cavalry, just ones that can feasibly use their mass. Giant Wolves, Giant Spiders, Steeds of Slaanesh and jaguars are a few creatures that wouldn't try to slam into their opponents, they are not built for that.

    2. I'll see about adding that, though I think it should be pretty clear already.

I see your point about doubling the points cost, though that is a pretty big thing to do just like that. I'll consider it though, but half points are not too big an issue atm I think.

True, I could possibly list Impact Hits as part of each mount's special rules instead. I'll look into it too.

  6. How can you misunderstand those rules?
It say always use the strength of the mount not the rider.
Last time I checked chaos steeds are cav, al form of units with this supposed units with this raw flaw is unit type cav. I know ppl bend rules in the most wired ways but this for me is not at al an issue.

Or is there something left out of the explanation?
Maybe it's also because English ain't my native language.

    1. I meant to say Daemonic Mount, not Chaos Steed.

    2. Göran Lindgren is right. it says at the start of the Monsterus cavalry section "All the cavalry rules apply to monstrous cavalry.".
this means that the bulletpoint rule caries over to monstrous cavalry but in all fairness it does need to be made more clear.

  7. Well it says all rules is as cav so I don't think there's any doubts.
But just to be sure nobody exploit any thing might clarify it apply to monstrous cav as well as cav.
