ReplyDeleteWhat are the plans for the individual Chaos books? I hope that they will be a bit like the old chaos, in which chaos warriors, beastmen and demons of specific mark could all be used in one army. :-)
ReplyDeleteI've been going through the WoC material over the weekend, but unfortunately there's not really enough unique units for each of the gods to warrant them having their own books. As such, WoC will get one book with all units, and then an expansion for their additional special characters called Champions of Chaos. I'd like to avoid making another book that is just a repeat of previous books, but I might make a smaller army list later that is based on each god, allowing you to mix the 3 chaos books in one.

ReplyDeleteIn WoC ravening hordes 9th there is no descriptive entry for Chimera, like the us no information on what any of the upgrades do. I mean 2 of them are common sense, but what about iron hard skin?
ReplyDeleteFound a huge problem with Chaos War Mammoth. So it uses a random chart for its attacks. So the chart against smaller models like cavalry and smaller on a roll of 3-4 it gets 2d6 stomp attacks. The stomp special rule can only be used against infantry, swarms, and warbeasts.... so yeah that's a thing.
ReplyDeleteSince because monsters are the only unit type that get stomp I feel they can or should be able to stomp on anything smaller then them. So anything except other monsters and maybe chariots?
Might be a bit off topic, but are there any battle scribe datas for these armies available?

This needs some condition to trigger:

E.g. in the shooting phase, choose a wizard or similar. :)
