And yet *another* Araby has been uploaded. This takes care of some more issues with statlines in the army list and reference section, adds a bunch of new artwork and a little bit of fluff. Finally found a decent pic for the Mamelukes too, been looking for that for ages! Wizards also have access to the Lore of Shadow, and the Hashishin and Al Thair now have a 4+ ward save to be more in line with Skaven Assassins, both points and rules-wise.
The book is starting to look really pretty now I must say, and hopefully this will be the last update in quite a while as well, I do have other books to work on!
On a sidenote, I've also added a predicted release order for new books and major updates to the left of the site. This way, you can easily keep track of when each book will get the spotlight. Minor updates will still be released when needed, as those can be done very quickly.
Do note that this is only a predicted schedule, and can be subject to change at any point.

How about Cult of Slaanesh?
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, forgot about that... really can't say, but it's not at the top of the list, I can tell you that much. Probably somewhere after Mercenaries of Tilea I think.
DeleteDo you think the Araby army is now even more balanced? I'm using an Empire araby themed army, I'm going to keep play-testing it (been doing it for a bit) and let you know if you care for feedback. I think it is not overpowered now as it is anyway, at first it was >very< overpowered.
ReplyDeleteIf you care for my opinion, I believe that (apart as others have stated) it's not a strengthened human copy of the skaven, but the fact that combines flyers that makes this hard not to be just a bit more overwhelming. But then again, what kind of an "araby" army would it be without them carpets?
PS. Been following you a lot and for quite some time, really like what you've done and been doing all these years. Just wanting to let you know that there are people out there who really like what you've done. Thanks very much for sharing all this.
Thank you, I really appreciate it. While I started doing this just for fun (and it still am) knowing that people really like what you are doing and are eager to see more makes it a lot more rewarding :)
DeleteAnd yes, please keep playtesting it, I want the book to be as balanced as possible in the end :)
