No High Helms? Why not something like S4 or/and devasting charge, stupidity
*HIGH HELMS (Order of the High Helm)
- Description: an elite cavalry unit of very tough and extremely tall (minimum height 6 feet 6 inches) knights. Members are selected according to their physique. They are not very highly thought of by the members of Reiksguard, as it is commonly believed that they possess only 1 brain amongst four.
- Allegiance: Emperor
- History (as per IC 2512): a newly constituted order, founded by the Emperor Karl Franz. They are currently being drilled in Altdorf.
- Appearance: tall, straight plumes on helmets.
- Sources: WFRP1 Enemy within: Shadows over Bogenhafen

Hadn't actually seen that before, really cool! Might give me some ideas for future books.
DeleteI'll have a look at enemy within, if there is a decent amount of background for them, I can include them as well, no problem.
Other source about High Helm is WFRP2 Realm of Salvation.
DeleteDon't you mean Tome of Salvation? Checked that one, couldn't find any mention of them. Do you know which page?
DeleteOups error
DeleteI would say Knights of the Fierv Heart
No pistol option for Footknight Reiksguard champion?
ReplyDeleteI might be able to squeeze it in, but I'm running out of page space with the Reiksguard!
DeleteBtw, I've also added Mordini's magical sword in the latest classical RoR update, and the Knights of the Cleansing Flame have gotten a Purge rule against Chaos. Read that you thought those two were missing on Warseer ;)
You also mentioned that you didn't like the Fimir book, but you never mentioned why? They are pretty far down on the update list at the moment, but I'd like to hear what you would like to see changed so I can improve the list in the future :)
Don't see the White Wolf Standard for White Wolf Knight and same for Panther like describe the Warhammer Armies The Empire for 4th edition and White Dwarf UK 146/147 for 3th edition
ReplyDeleteThe Standard of the White Wolf is in the Cult of Ulric book. I only included the basic rules and equipment in this one.
DeleteIs there a magical standard for the Knights Panther though? Haven't found anything like that in 4th ed Empire book, and I don't have White Dwarf 146/147 unfortunately.
Standard of the With Wolf and Panther are just described to 4th ed Empire book (to eavy metal page).
DeleteIf I remember the Panther standard is for protect of magic.
To my opinion this add-on (like the banner for Blood Knight) could intresting.
All right, found them! I've included them as upgrade options as well as the Reiksguard Champion's pistol. These will be added in the next update later this week.
DeleteIf I find time, I will write a review about your Fimir armybook.
ReplyDeleteSounds good, looking forward to reading it!
Deletereally cool.
ReplyDeletepossible to upgrade every knights of the book to inner circle? then only +1 strengh or switch complete profil because of BS.
black guard of morr doesn't wear their obsidian armour? in equipment list is a full plate armour listed.
greez günni
Ah true, I'll make a note that it simply gives them +1 Strength, some Knights have I4 which would also screw it up.
DeleteWill fix the Obsidian armour as well, good catch!
Nothing about the update of the WD article for WFB6 and personalising Knight order?
ReplyDeleteProbably stupid question, but unit limits/where in the force organization chart?
ReplyDeleteReiksguard are Special in the army book, while knights are core. The Templars of Sigmar seem a might bit too special to be a core choice, etc.
Not stupid at all, I should really have put that in. Most of these Knightly Orders are simply meant to be Core Units, as they often have drawback that counter their bonuses, making a lot of them on par with the basic Knightly Orders.
DeleteI can add that in with the next update, but play them as normal Core choices until then for consistency.
Alright, thanks!
