New Nippon update out now!

And yet another update for Nippon...

This one fixes a few bugs in the statlines for several units, as well as several balance changes, as follows.

  • Nerfs to some Poisons.
  • Smaller point cost changes for Magic Items.
  • Sarutori Hanzo has 3A now instead of 4.
  • The Red Ronin is no longer subject to Stupidity.
  • Small nerf to Kitsune's Trickster Magic rule.

  1. Man you are really awesome. I dont have words to explain what did i feel when i found this blog. I go straight to test nippon as soon as possible.

Could you do with Silvan Elves the same that you have done with Bretonia?

    1. Thanks! Let me know how you fare so I can tinker with the rules more if needed :)

  2. Regarding Wood Elves, I have actually considered, but I'm not sure I would really do them justice. Sure I would include Stag Knights, but that's about it as far as new units would go. Updating it shouldn't have be an issue though, so if you wood elf players would be okay with that, I might be able to give it a shot.

  3. "Maybe you do also something like Slayers Cult Armybook ? ;)
    Balseraph."

Briefly considered that as well, but there's so little to go on that it would be difficult to make it into a whole book, not to mention it would be really repetitive in theme. Odds are better I would do a Wood Elf book in that case.

  4. Oh I will test nippon soon!

About wood elves, PLEASE do an update like you did with bretonnia, in fact, in my gaming group a friend just started a bretonnian army and we are using your rules to play them :)

    Best regards.

    1. I don't think that would be possible with Scribd or Issuu, which is my best hosting solution at the moment. You could always try using http://www.downthemall.net/ for Firefox, might help. Then again, I don't really update all the books that often, so if you keep it consistent with the updates, you won't have to download all of them at the same time.
