New Nippon update out now!

Fourth one today! A little bigger this time:
  • Katanas now only gives the Parry rule, this is to reduce the number of special rules already in play and make other weapon options more attractive. Daimatzu Mon now allows re-rolls instead.
  • Samurai Characters may now only join samurai units.
  • Some poisons have been removed, Ninja equipment moved to old Poison page.
  • Battle Maidens are now called Onna Bushi.
  • Some new art (check out the timeline!).
  • Improved layout and formatting.
  • A couple of spelling issues fixed.
Google Drive only.

  1. I have a question about the Horo cloak. Do Handguns and Pistols count as Black powder weapons ? Or just cannons and fire throwers ?

    1. Well, they fire using black powder, so yes ;)
A "balloon" really isn't going to stop a bullet from going through!

  2. Thank you :)
And I really love what you did here :) just one more question: Do you have a plan for a Hinterland of Khurresh or Tor Elithis army lists ? They have even more obscure fluffs than Cathay or Nippon, but IMHO I think they are pretty interesting :)

    1. Khuresh - maybe, Tor Elithis - probably not. Khuresh will only be a smaller army list in this case.

  3. Looking at the new update and it's great! I even got it printed out and made into a book. Working on my army now...

Any luck on an Army Builder/Battlescribe file for Nippon. I am a Army Builder user myself so that is what I perfer, but I found this data file made by a fan for Battlescribe...

    1. There are a some people that have been making files for them, but I don't know where they are hosted I'm afraid. If I could program them myself, I would, but alas, my programming skills are pretty much nil at the moment.
