  1. Great work mate, you've rekindled the flame of the Whfb player!!
Just one thing concerning Orion (in order to give him justice, he's the king in the woods after all!!):
-I think the spear should negate armour save in close combat to give him some realistic chance against armoured troops
-the mantle of Isha, what do you think of one of the following two options? First option: gives a ward save (4+), magic resistance (1) and you recover one wound on a six at the beginning of your turn. Secondo option: gives a ward save (5+), magic resistance (2) and at the beginning of your turn you roll as many dice as Orion as suffered wounds, for each roll of a six he recovers a wound.
I think with those changes he could cost even 450 pts but he would be well worth it!!

    1. Hi, I don't have plans to change Orion's rules right now. He is S5, so he is pretty good in combat already.

He also already has a 4+ save since he is a forest spirit.

    2. Yeah, now I understand the Ward Save, I forgot that it stack with other sources!! And what about giving him S6? Cause he may be quite simple to tank with armoured units...

    3. Well, he was S5 in 6th ed, which fits the model better imo. Due to his speed, he should be able to choose his targets without much issue, but as a wood elf he already excels with missile attacks, don't think it's needed to make him better in close combat too. Price-wise he has dropped over 200 pts compared to 8th ed already.

    4. Hi. I ve been watching and playing your rule books from day one :) First time I comment so I have to say grats and great job. So what i'll say now is just an opinion and in a friendly matter :D.Most of the things we use from you in our community but because we are some stubborn fools playing non stop since 92 we use some house rules as well. Orion's spear ignoring saves is just one of the things that I care more about the prestige of an avatar king of the woods killing knights like butter than being balanced overall and having to choose his targets. Just like the tomb kings chariots prefering being str5 due to the "and the tomb kings rode to war" feeling being important. Keep up the great work.

    5. I completely agree with Verminlord78, Orion can obviously be a glass cannon, but one capable to put a dent on every type of enemy

  2. Well. The new DLC for Total War Warhammer: II came out. "The Warden and the Paunch". With the new units coming with that, do you plan to add them to the Orcs and Goblins army book?

    1. I am pretty sure Giant River Hag Troll, Snotling Pump Wagons, River Trolls, Stone Trolls, Rogue Idol are already in the book...

  3. Right. I just noticed something odd in the Lizardmen army book. One new unit was the "sacred Kroxigor". I noticed it wasn't in the book. Unless I overlooked it. Like maybe it was a type of spawning or equipment to make it? Total War Warhammer has made some interesting stuff for Warhammer Fantasy, and I thought that maybe it could provide ideas for the army books. Still, I wish you luck on future updates.

    1. The Sacred Kroxigor is just an improved version of the Kroxigor though, so not really a new unit in that sense. They can already take spawning which would essentially make them "sacred". I only include things that really add something new to the game when it comes to TW units.

    2. The Gauntlets that the Sacred Kroxigor use. Maybe the Sacred Kroxigor can be listed as a slightly different type like the Kroxigor Ancient, like an upgrade? Like, it can be mentioned that the Sacred Spawning of Kroxigor are so valuable, they get decked out with mystical power gauntlets? Anyway, after Magic Items, You're working on the Vampire Coast? What are your thoughts on the "Lore of the Deep"?

    3. Had not seen those gloves before, though that would essentially just be two hand weapons with maybe magical attacks and armour piercing. Still, I'll hold off including such an upgrade for the moment, as there is no way to build the models with those weapons anyway. Might consider it for the future though.

Do not have many thoughts on the lore of the deep as of yet since I have not started with the book yet.

    4. Thanks for the Consideration. By the way, after the Vampire Coast, do you plan to continue with Kislev, or maybe the other smaller factions: like the Gnoblar Horde, or the Slayer Army of Karak Kadrin?

  4. What are your thoughts about Kislev? It looks like GW is actually making an official book for them.

    1. I'm happy about GW making more Kislev models; and with a real Kislev book I should have more material to work with for my own version.
