Welcome to the Warhammer Armies Project, the home of the unofficial 9th Edition for Warhammer Fantasy Battles and the most popular unofficial army lists online. It will gradually be updated with new books in a rules-only format. It also serves as my hobby blog for my personal Warhammer collection.
While the Perry Miniatures are great, I do not think they make for great Empire models as they do not really make any landsknechts lookalikes. I have included Perry miniatures in the dogs of war collection however, as they do make great Tileans.
I respectfully disagree about Perry. Their 1450 - 1500 range has mounted men-at-arms, "foot knights," light cavalry, pikes/spears, crossbowmen, handgunners, halberdiers, bowmen, and more. Lots of German style armor & weapons in those kits. Very Gothic. No Landsknechts but some of us actually don't like that look. Great quality models, lots of them in each box, and very affordable.
I have a question about Imperial Ogres in Empire Rulebook. It has the Impact Hits (1) instead of Ogre Charge. It wouldn´t be more appropiated to streamline all ogres like you do with dwarfs?
Glad to see the number next to high elves move again. But if it's at 99% next time I'll check I'll be annoyed with someone doing unpaid work that I enjoy. That's never happened before, and i don't want to start now. I'd forgive you quickly though.
Gamezone miniatures
ReplyDeleteYou have to add the Perry brothers to your list. They have great miniatures and the best knights stand in:

The scale is just not heroic scale, but that issue remains with most alternativs to GW...

Apologies if you get this a lot but... High Elves?
ReplyDeleteThey are almost finished, I only have a few dozen pages left that needs art added to them. I will probably have it out sometime next week :)
DeleteWoo! :)

ReplyDeleteYeah, that should be Ogre charge for them. Will add it to their fix list.

ReplyDeleteSorry, but it's at 99% now ;p
DeleteOnly have the graphics for the army list left to finish now, so I will probably have the 1.0 out sometime tomorrow.
I saw that and laughed. Thanks for everything you do.
Delete*comes back tommorow* "99.5%?! WTH?!! *shakes fist at the sky*
DeleteI'm pretty sure he's just trolling me now. And I'm ok with it.
