  1. Hello Mathias, thank you for your great Work. I don't understand your Intention for playing the Steamtank as animated construct. For me a Steamtank is nothing else than a Cannon or War Waggon. Will all machines get thus Rule? Regards Chris

    1. The Steam tank is a bit different from a normal because it has no mounts, is immune to poison and does not march either. The same goes for the Dwarfen Grudgebreaker.

  2. -The last sentence of Accusation rule of the Witch Hunter mentions a character by name instead of the generic Witch Hunter.
-Since you've made the WS4 Swordsmen, Greatswords and Reiksguard Knights Initiative 4, I think you should do the same for regular knights and Demigryph knights.
-With the War Wagon, perhaps tear a page out of Total War Warhammer and make the crew of the War Wagon all wield the same weapons. They could choose between Handguns, Blunderbusses, Repeater Handguns or Long Rifles for ranged weapons and choose between Polearms, Flails or Man Catchers for melee. The crew can forgo weapon options to instead replace three of their number with a Light Mortar (identical to the one used by Cathay Field Engineers) or light Helblaster (S4 instead of S5). The weapon options (without the artillery) could be added to the Von Zeppel Steam Tank variant.
-Didn't the fact that Arcane Battle Altars grant an extra Power Dice or Dispel Dice vary depending on the wind? Why make them all grant extra power dice?
-Since Generals have had their WS improved by 1, why haven't Karl Franz and Marius Leitdorf had their WS upped to 7?
-Why don't Generals and Captains have the options for Repeater Pistols, Repeater Handguns, Grenade Launchers or Long Rifles?
-I see no reason why Witch Hunters can't take Handguns, Repeater Handguns, Repeater Pistols, Grenade Launchers or Long Rifles. If they have a Long Rifle, then Accusation should be modified that when they use it to snipe their target, they don't suffer the BS penalty for sniper shots.
-The Mechanical Steeds armor comes from metal so rather than Natural Armor, it could be equipped with light or medium armor.
-There's nothing explaining the rules for Brace of Pistols with a Repeater Pistol even though it can be inferred that it can fire 4 shots. My main question is why it isn't a Brace of Repeater Pistols that can fire 6 shots a turn.
-Perhaps give Greatswords the ability to upgrade to Full Plate Armor for those who want slightly cheaper Foot Knights that can hold the line slightly more effectively due to more models.

    1. - Will fix.
      - Regular knights in most armies is still I3. Inner Circle Knights could argubly get +1I.
      - I prefer the War Wagon is, based on the official model.
      - Streamlining, since they both use power dice to cast their spells, it's easier to just make them both channel dice they can use for those spells.
      - Karl Franz has never been higher than WS6, in 6th ed he was actually WS5. Marius will get a boost to WS7 though.
      - Those are engineer weapons, not something the regular army uses.
      - Same as above.
      - Armour would be rather weird though, hence natural armour was the easiest fit. Same goes for juggernauts.
      - They have never been able to take both (I guess reloading 6 barrels a turn might be a bit tricky).
      - The models have never really had full plate though, and I prefer to have them be separate from the Reiksguard foot knights in that regard.

  3. Hello Mathias, congratulations for your great work. As far as I have seen this is the best evolution of Warhammer I have found.
I have one question with the hellblaster volley gun that may also be extended to the cannon grapeshot. Once the number of shots are determined, are the impacts automatic or do I have to roll "to hit"using the crew´s BS?
    Thank you for your time.
